Supervised Pond Dipping

WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER UNSUPERVISED POND DIPPING AT THE RESERVE IN VIEW OF THE NEED TO CONSERVE THE POND WILDLIFE; MAINTAIN VISITOR SAFETY AND CRITICALLY WE MUST ENSURE BIO SECURITY FOR THE RESERVE AS A WHOLE

Supervised Pond Dipping  restarts  on  Saturday 24th May  1.30pm -3.30pm

ALL EQUIPMENT PROVIDED. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN NETS

Our Supervised Pond Dipping will restart on Saturday 24th May from 1.30pm – 3.30pm.

Sessions will be on Saturday and Sunday afternoons only with Wednesday sessions starting on Wednesday 23rd July

We have 12 Dipping Stations to enable children to learn what creatures live in the water, guided by our knowledgeable volunteer team

If the ponds are busy, we will manage the length of time each person can dip and we may ask you

to walk around the reserve and return when it’s quieter
